Life Saving and First Aid Training 

CPR Associates is dedicated to teaching the highest standards of CPR and First Aid. We teach in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and all over New England.
We use a teaching style that is positive, fun, and supportive. We work with our candidates to ensure that they fully understand the concepts and mechanics of CPR and First Aid. We schedule our training to accommodate our students, with classes usually being taught at their facilities at times convenient to them.

Heartsaver® CPR with AED

Heartsaver® First Aid

This course teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills. It will also cover the State of Massachusetts Chokesaver requirement that food establishments have to have on its premises, while food is being served, an employee trained in manual procedures to remove food lodged in a person’s airway.
  
This program teaches students the critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes of an emergency until medical help arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course is usually combined with the Heartsaver CPR/AED course to cover any type of medical emergency.
 
 
 

Heartsaver Pediatric CPR

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

In this course you will learn CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking in a child or infant. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills person’s throat.
 
 
 
 
This course teaches child care providers and others how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. When combined with Pediatric CPR, this course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. It is also recommended for all new parents and grandparents.
 
  

BLS for Healthcare Providers

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
Designed for those who risk on-the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids, the course teaches how bloodborne pathogens are spread. You’ll learn how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.
